Architect by training, builder by default. I made Smart Post Studio because every social scheduler I tried wanted me to upload my videos to their cloud before posting them to mine. That felt backwards.
The video already lives on your computer. Why does it need to make a round trip through someone else's servers before it gets to the platform?
That question kept bothering me. Every social media tool I tried in 2026 was built around the same assumption: you upload your media to their cloud, where it sits indefinitely, gets re-encoded, gets compressed, gets monetized via "AI features" that mostly just shuffle your files between buckets. Then, when the schedule fires, the platform pulls from their server.
That's three steps too many. Your file already exists. The platform has an API. The only thing missing is a desktop app that talks to both.
So I built one.
Smart Post Studio runs on your machine. Your videos stay on your hard drive — full resolution, no re-encoding, no compression artifacts. When the schedule fires, the post goes from your computer to the platform's API. For YouTube, the file travels directly to Google's resumable upload servers — our infrastructure never sees the bytes. For the other platforms, the file passes briefly through a Cloudflare R2 bucket so the platform can fetch it, then auto-deletes within seconds.
No subscription to "store your content." No 500 MB cloud cap. No "your video has been re-encoded to 1080p for our processing pipeline." Just your file, your schedule, your post.
And because the AI Writing Studio runs on Claude Sonnet 4.5, it writes captions natively in 50+ languages — from Spanish and French to Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and Icelandic. Smart Post Studio is a one-person operation, which means a few things up front:
Support replies come from me directly. Usually within a day. Sometimes within an hour. Occasionally — if you've caught me deep in a release — within two days. There's no support queue, no tier-one bot, no ticket number.
