Windows SmartScreen on first install

Windows will probably show "Windows protected your PC" the first time you run the installer. It does this for every new app from a small publisher — nothing is wrong with the file.

To install: click More info, then click Run anyway. The warning goes away on future installs.

We're getting Windows code-signing in place over the next two weeks, which will remove the warning entirely.

Activate in 30 seconds

Download and install the version for your operating system.
Open the app. You'll see an activation screen.
Enter your email and license key — both are in the welcome email we sent when you purchased.
Connect your social accounts in the Accounts tab. OAuth flows open in your browser.
Schedule your first post in the Composer. Pick a date, time, platforms, and hit Schedule.

A few things worth knowing

Scheduled posts fire when the app is running. If your machine is asleep at the scheduled time, the post fires within a minute of waking. A cloud-relay scheduling option is on the v1.2 roadmap for fire-and-forget reliability.
TikTok posts currently land in your phone drafts until TikTok approves our Direct Post audit (submitted, typical 1-2 weeks). Open the TikTok app to publish. The Composer shows a banner reminding you.
Your data stays on your machine. Tokens in OS keychain, posts in your local app database, media never copied to our servers (YouTube uploads go direct to Google; other platforms transit through R2 momentarily then are auto-deleted).
